How do I know what service to request? |
To get started, click here to fill out a short query form and attach a sample of your work (5-10 pages) so that we can get to know you and your project better. We will gauge the type of edits required and then follow up with you on a time and cost estimate.
|
What format do you edit in? What can I expect to get back? |
The industry standard, Microsoft Word’s Track Changes is preferred as it is effective and reliable and allows for easy, collaborative edits. However, we are flexbile and will also work with a PDF or Google Doc.
For Word and Google Docs, edits and suggestions will be made using Track Changes so that you can see all edits and either accept or reject them. We will mark all edits and then offer you two options: 1) You can review the edits and accept or reject all the changes made on your own time or 2) You can look over the edits, make any adjustments you see fit, and then send it back to be finalized. We do not charge to finalize these edits. It is a complimentary service offered to make this process swift and easy for you. |
Can you proofread a PowerPoint file? |
You bet. We use PowerPoint’s Comment feature and will highlight changes in the presentation.

How do I send a website for proofing? |
You would email us a link to your website. We would send you back the edits and suggestions as a Word or Google Doc--using Track Changes so that you can see all the edits and either accept or reject them. From there, you have two options: 1) You can review the edits and accept or reject all the changes made and update your site on your own time or 2) You can look over the edits, make any adjustments you see fit, and then send it back to be finalized. We would then finalize these changes and update your website for you. We do not charge to finalize these edits. It is a complimentary service offered to make this process swift and easy for you.
